During the holidays, we took Helpful Honda to the North Pole. Easily my favorite time of the year.
I’ve always loved stop-motion animation, so working on these spots felt like stepping straight into a Rankin/Bass holiday special. Pure magic, minus the questionable 1960s lip-syncing.
Each year we worked with incredible talent, from all-star voice actors to Emmy-winning animators to the cinematographer of Marcel the Shell With Shoes On.

SCRIPTED
83% of the year we worked with real people and outside of our Honda people the words were unscripted. So sitting down in July to crank out stories, ones that could be told in stop-motion and trying to hit that joke at the end was a blast. So many favorites.
SONGS
I make up songs in my head everyday, so it’s nice being able to do it for work and with the amazing Gabe Sokoloff. Some years we even recorded at EastWest Studios in the same room used by Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson & the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack.
