During the holidays, we took Helpful Honda to the North Pole, and it was easily my favorite time of the year. I’ve always loved stop-motion animation, so working on these spots felt like stepping straight into a Rankin/Bass holiday special—pure magic, minus the questionable 1960s lip-syncing. Each year, we worked with incredible talent, from all-star voice actors to Emmy-winning animators to the cinematographer of Marcel the Shell With Shoes On.

I‘ve always dreamed about writing for polar bears, cookies, nut crackers and penguins (I know, wrong pole, but our AirBnB/snowbirding script never made it through).
SONGS
I make up songs in my head everyday, so it’s nice being able to do it for work and with the amazing Gabe Sokoloff. Some years we even recorded at EastWest Studios in the same room used by Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson & the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack.
